In this remix I took inspiration from the goth-friendly form of electronic music that derived from the sounds of other remixes of the era of the 80s-90s, specifically sounds from The Cure’s “Mixed Up” compilation, along with other genres such as modern post-soviet new wave and other russian styles of post punk which has recently saw a resurgence from bands such as Molchat Doma and Buerak in the last few years.
